To everyone in this group who has taken a moment to check in on me & send condolences over the last few weeks ahead of Dad's funeral & sent me stunning sunflowers (& much needed biscuit) in the few days since. 🥹
He arrived like a cowboy, & we carried him into an overflowing crematorium to proper country music.
I thought this shot from his service was pretty fitting for this group.
That's a solid metal wagon axel weighing about 70kg, with iron wheels at about 35-40kg each, then whatever extra weight he's added on.
...Plus the crushing weight of those sideburns...
