Mental health win...for me these are always so much harder than the physical ones.
I cannot remember ever coming out of a bank holiday feeling well rested. Resting and relaxing feels lazy, my brain reminds me non-stop of things I should be doing.
It's exhausting and unhealthy to feel constantly guilty.
But this weekend I got the balance right!
Between working on the house, moving my body and seeing friends and family...even jumped in last minute to compere/perform (Literally last minute I arrived expecting to be an audience member 😭😂)...there was stillness, spending time in the garden bonding over sausage rolls with my crow, & watching a movie (or 3) completely guilt free.
I've come back the house glow-up, editing and consulting bits I'm doing so much happier and less resentful, and absolutely in love with the person I'm discovering in the sacred space between relationships.
