On retreat today, we had a wild sit on anger & patience.
And boom 💥 — I realized something big:
I haven’t been “patient” in my relationships… I’ve just been passive!
Old me: 😡 angry.
Recent me: 😶 quiet, holding it in.
Result: I don’t always say what needs to be said.
The teachers reminded us that the near enemy of patience is passivity…mind blown 🤯
So here’s my new goal:
Find that sweet spot where I’m calm enough not to explode 💥 but present enough not to disappear 🫥.
👊 Your Turn
- Ever catch yourself going from Zen monk 🧘♂️ to doormat?
- How do you know when it’s time to speak up vs. just breathe and let it go?
- What tricks help you share your truth without turning into the Hulk? 🏋
Let’s get honest — I bet a lot of us wrestle with this one.
