Meditating in silence is futile
Zen practice in the midst of activities is a million times superior to that pursued in silence. - Master Ta Hui

Isn't the point of being in a zen state being about to have that without all the chaos going on in the world.

Futile what do you mean by that
How can meditation help with getting up at 12 pm

@Tara Z they say don't use your phone when first get up. Is that true for meditation as well. Are you an extreme introvert? Are you an extreme extrovert? Are you introvert? Are you extrovert? Are you familiar with the book success through still by Russell Simmons? If not what type of male author do you suggest to learn meditation? Telling you this it is the beginning but don't know if want that book attached to me because probably doesn't serve me anymore and people judge me for it. Just like my favorite movie is sipping juice in the hood it is so funny.
2 Week Morning Meditation Challenge
Monday April 27, our MWF Daily Sits move to 8am CT. To kick off the new time, I'm running a 2 week morning meditation challenge. 6 sits over 2 weeks. Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 8am CT. 25 min silent. Show up for all 6. Why the time change: One: starting the day in silence changes what the day does to you. Beats a midday pause. Two: our students in China can finally sit with us at a time that works across both time zones. (I taught in China for 10 years and came across thousands of students who follow us). The ask: comment "I'm in" below if you're committing. Public commitment raises the odds of showing up. See you at 8am CT Monday.

How did your meditation go today? For those who joined our early call, what was it like starting your day with meditation? If you haven't practice, set an intention to practice later on today. Drop a GIF, share some words, or if you have questions - I'll do my best to answer them. With warmth, Brandon
