‘Productive’ daylong talks between Israeli, Lebanese ambassadors in DC conclude, will resume tomorrow
By Jacob Magid 15 May 2026, 12:32 am The first day of the third round of ambassador-level talks between Israel and Lebanon at the US State Department in Washington, DC, has concluded, an Israeli official tells The Times of Israel. They lasted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, with a break in the middle. Talks will pick back up tomorrow. Negotiations are still in their early stages, with the sides trying to draft peace and security deals. That will be difficult to accomplish as Lebanon wants Israeli forces to withdraw from the country’s south, and Israel wants Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah — something the Lebanese army has been unable to do to date and the Iran-backed terror group has roundly rejected. The State Department calls the talks “productive.” “We look forward to continuing this tomorrow and hope to have more to share then,” it adds in a statement.

The UK is Rejecting the Left
BREAKING: Reform UK is SMASHING Labour and the far-left in the local elections. Unprecedented results are unfolding by the hour. Britain rejects the radical left and surges toward nationalism. It’s happening, the British are taking their country back. https://x.com/thebritlad/status/2052774082052042998?s=46&t=gT6uLhaVod8uwzT4p6povA
The UK is Rejecting the Left
Germany has announced it is sending back up to 1 MILLION Syrian nationals who entered as refugees.
After years of open-door policies, rising crime, integration failures, and huge welfare costs, Germany is finally acting — mass repatriations are now underway. The question for Britain is simple: Should Britain do the same? We took in hundreds of thousands of Syrians and other asylum seekers during the same period. Many have never worked, some have been involved in grooming gangs, terrorism plots, or serious crime, and the taxpayer has footed the bill for accommodation, benefits, healthcare and schooling for over a decade. Germany is waking up. When is Britain going to grow a backbone and put its own people first? Should Britain follow Germany and start sending back failed asylum seekers and those who refuse to integrate? https://x.com/scaryeurope/status/2054895741185978569?s=46&t=gT6uLhaVod8uwzT4p6povA
