I was interviewed by Chanel Rion on OAN to give an update on the ground in Iran.
The Iranian people are currently united like never before under the leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi. Right now, they are strategically staying home to minimize casualties while American and Israeli military operations weaken the Islamic Republic's suppressing power. The IRGC is fragmented, terrified of their own citizens, and relying on desperate propaganda to project a false image of strength.

Excellent interview. Yet again, another person from Iran shows the world that the IRGC is a different group of people. The free-thinking people of Iran sound like *this*.
They have started their plan to try and stop the war (:
To connect to what JewishSamantha mentioned today about the online meeting(?) she attended, where they were planned to push their agenda through, among others, students and trade unions. The biggest labor union in Sweden "Unionen" released below statement today. Trade unions in Sweden are large and highly influential. They play a central role in the Swedish labor market system, and it is very, very unusual for them to comment on events in this way (many people are questioning why they are taking sides on politics in this way under the comments). Unionen in particular is a labor union that also have student members. Many, if not the vast majority of all university students, are members before (and sometimes after) they enter work life. Translation "We stand in unwavering solidarity with workers, independent labor unions, and communities in Iran and the region. Unionen supports the demand for an immediate ceasefire in Iran and the Middle East."

Who would have an interest in confusing a bunch of union workers into thinking that stopping the war now is an act of support for the communities in Iran? I don't know the answer to that question, but there must be one.

I was against the war at the time and I did some protesting, too. I wasn't foaming at the mouth "no blood for oil" but I was on that team. None the less, I did try to get the facts wherever they may lead and found many things that conflicted with my moral/ethical sensibilities. I mentioned elsewhere that President George H W Bush, in my opinion, actually put forth a good case for Desert Shield and had built a broad coalition. In hindsight so many years later, if you're going convince the public that the military should take out some bad dudes, that was comparatively well done. Desert Storm left me perplexed - why are the bad dudes still there? Why are people still arguing about what "WMD" means? What does civic responsibility demand? Fast-forward to today. The IRGC should have been gone a long time ago too, in my opinion. Bear in mind of course that my duty is civic responsibility, not military responsibility. That's for other people. Right now, those other people are doing this (screenshot) and I find myself thinking WTF? I'm thinking about what @Jeffrey Cappella posted a few days ago with the final quote from Mao, and this excerpt from "The Future of Warfare" by Bevin Alexander. https://www.bevinalexander.com/excerpts/terror-future-wars/mao-zedong-warfare-theories.htm Note: I haven't actually read this book, but I have read some of the references mentioned here and this excerpt sums it up nicely, in my opinion.

Google Maps Revives Pahlavi Street on Tehran’s Iconic Boulevard
Tehran’s most famous boulevard just got a blast from the past on Google Maps: Pahlavi Street. Now called Valiasr, the historic north–south artery was renamed after the 1979 revolution — making this digital throwback impossible to miss.
