An Extremely Inconvenient Truth

There’s an extremely inconvenient truth that people keep trying to dodge: Islam isn’t merely a religion—it’s a violent, authoritarian socio-political system cosplaying as theology. And that shouldn’t shock anyone once you look at its founder, Muhammad, whom Muslims are explicitly told is the perfect man and the ideal model for all time.

This isn’t coming from “Islamophobes” or Western critics. Everything below comes straight from Islam’s own sources.

𝐒𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐢𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟

Muhammad didn’t just tolerate slavery—he practiced it. Defeated men were killed; women and children were sold off like livestock. Moral clarity, 7th-century edition.

𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫

When dealing with enemies, Muhammad didn’t limit himself to simple executions. In one particularly charming example, he ordered captured men to have their hands and feet cut off, their eyes gouged out, and then left to die slowly in the desert sun, the Sahih Muslim spells it out:

(Sahih Muslim 4131 -this account is also confirmed by at least three other narrations).

Apparently “mercy” had not yet been revealed.

At Khaybar, when a town treasurer was suspected of hiding loot, Muhammad ordered him tortured—literally burned—until he nearly died. Once sufficiently grilled, the man was beheaded:

As a bonus horror story, Muhammad then “married” the man’s newly widowed wife the very same day. Romance, Islamic style.

Near the end of his life, Muhammad openly directed military campaigns for the purpose of expanding Islamic rule. Cities that surrendered without fighting were still looted; cities that resisted were looted more. The only difference wasn’t whether conquest happened—it was how much Muslims were entitled to afterward

In other words: submit peacefully or violently—either way, you’re paying tribute. Sounds less like religion and more like a protection racket.

The Quran itself addresses divorce rules for girls who haven’t even reached puberty

That’s not ambiguous unless you’re determined to pretend it is.

Muhammad encouraged his followers to marry “young girls” for sexual enjoyment:

"𝐴𝑙𝑙𝑎ℎ'𝑠 𝐴𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑙𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑒, "𝐻𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑔𝑜𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑑 𝑂 𝐽𝑎𝑏𝑖𝑟?" 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑑, "𝑌𝑒𝑠." 𝐻𝑒 𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑒𝑑 "𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡, 𝑎 𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑔𝑖𝑛 𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛?" 𝐼 𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑑, "𝑁𝑜𝑡 𝑎 𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑔𝑖𝑛 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑛." 𝐻𝑒 𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑑, "𝑊ℎ𝑦 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑦 𝑎 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑔𝑖𝑟𝑙 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑦𝑜𝑢?"

then set the gold standard by marrying Aisha at six and consummating the marriage at nine:

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: “Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine.”

This is confirmed in many other hadith as well. She still played with dolls. He bathed with her. And parts of the Quran were allegedly “revealed” while he was in bed with her.

So no—Muhammad didn’t condemn child sex. He normalized it.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬

When Khalid bin Walid massacred members of a tribe that had already accepted Islam—including executing captives—there was no punishment. No demotion. No accountability.

Instead, Muhammad covered the blood money himself and then promoted Khalid to chief of the army. Because nothing says “moral leadership” like rewarding mass murder when the loot keeps flowing.

𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Then there’s taqiyya and kitman—religiously sanctioned deception toward non-Muslims, fully grounded in Islamic texts. When honesty becomes optional depending on who you’re talking to, trust becomes irrational.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐈𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭

Muslims are taught that Muhammad is the perfect example for all humanity. So when violence, conquest, slavery, child sex, and deception keep recurring, that’s not a misunderstanding—it’s ideological consistency.

Libertarians understand something most people don’t: Ideas matter. Incentives matter. Power attracts the corruptible. And any system—religious or secular—that fuses absolute moral authority with political power will produce bloodshed.

Islam isn’t broken. When 90+% of terrorist attacks around the world are committed by Muslims, with, according to some estimates, between 10%-15% of the Muslim population engaging in some form of Islamic terroristic jihad. It’s functioning exactly as designed.
