Last weekend, my 9 year old joined me for a nice slow and steady run along the Wales Coastal Path. We covered 10 miles together, the following day he went in to win a 2 mile race for his school against others who were all from the year group above him. I’ve been a very proud father this week. I always am, but his achievements have honestly made me absolutely beam with pride.

So… We’re currently in Disneyland and yesterday had a day in the new Adventureworld which included Avengers Campus. Walking through Avengers Campus and walking towards me is Capt America (a probably-23 year old man dressed up)… Out of respect I nod and say ‘Cap’ He replies (not sure if respectfully or not), ‘Son’… He turns. The stops, turns back. He looks me up and down and assesses my arms in my StrongDads Stealth tee, then says, ‘Have you taken super serum?’ I’ll take that as a win. For Capt America to comment on my muscle in front of my son is definitely a StrongDad moment…

Had a great weekend Saturday I ran with Dominic on his first race. It was so enjoyable to help pace him and push him. He ran a 837 min mile for his first ever race!!! I am so proud of him now he wants to train for more races. Just shows you they watch us and do what we do!!!!!
