A book I have enjoyed
Has anyone picked up the book “The Pivot Year”? Author is Brianna Wiest. I found it helpful for journaling this past year. Wondered if anyone else had enjoyed it/found it helpful. I didn’t use all of the time however on the days I was struggling to journal, it gave me a good starter question.
Time heals?
Ya’ know that saying, “time heals all wounds”? No, it doesn’t. The passage of time may soften the wound and the pain, but it’s still there and a certain sound, or smell, or whatever can bring back the hurt like it just happened. So, be kind to yourself and understanding of others if ya’ can. 💔❤️‍🩹💕
A Good Day to Die
Today is a good day to die" originates from the Lakota Sioux battle cry Hóka-hey, meaning "let's go" or "today is a good day to die". The phrase can be interpreted as a call to live authentically and without regrets, by confronting mortality and focusing on what truly matters. May we all be blessed with today being a good day to die.
