Health Contract
I shared in the workout today that I wrote a health contract for myself that I will strive to follow. It was one of the strategies in the book Atomic Habits by James Clear and I wanted to try it out. I've been diving deeper into my faith lately and I decided that instead of just making a contract only for myself I wanted to make a contract between myself and God. For me this is more than just a contract, it is a prayer that I can recite when I'm feeling weak or pulled towards unhealthy habits. Here it is if anyone would like to copy it or use it as a template for your own contract: "Lord, I promise to treat my body with the love and care it deserves, with the love and care you would wish for me. I promise to nourish my body with healthy food and not give into gluttony. I will strive to create a feeling of balance by allowing myself to indulge in nature's candy (aka fruit) as often as I want and when I take the time to make homemade treats with healthy ingredients. I promise to do this until September 19, 2026 on which date I have the honor of officiating my brother's wedding and, with your grace, to continue after to the best of my ability."

High protein breakfast!
For those of you that don't cook or want something quick and easy for breakfast that is high protein and low calorie here's what I had today! 2 boiled eggs 1 packet of Quaker protein oatmeal 1 hot chocolate made with vanilla protein powder and I tbs of coca powder Total calories: 383 Net carbs: 26g Fat: 13g Protein: 40g
