If you couldn't make it to the call this week here's what you missed! Get ready for a novel because everyone is SMASHING their goals!!!! Weekly Wins: @Brittney Neunzig - Successfully following intensive rosacea cleanse with multiple daily requirements (warm lemon water, detox tea, supplements, bone broth, protein smoothie, etc.) - Avoiding gluten, dairy, soy, corn, and processed foods without cheating despite family eating different foods - Skin clearing up quickly - Not experiencing hunger or temptation, which was unexpected @Jim Smith - Eating salad every day with lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and celery - Doing sciatica exercises twice daily - causing pain in morning but feeling better by afternoon - Worked in yard multiple days despite snowy weather - Stretching exercises helping shoulder recovery (95% healed) and restored ability to open jars and cans @Nolan Watson - Set up goal tracking system using AI Cloud tool - Did poetry writing all but one day this week - Did music mixing all but one day (trying for one hour sessions) - Most consistent with goals so far @Ryan Muir - Used hand bike for 10 minutes on Saturday and Monday (2 out of 3 planned sessions) - Completed Botox injection for next seven months - Traveled to Toronto and back safely @Jan Fletcher - Found therapeutic riding place (currently on waitlist) - Created workout plan including triceps exercises in chair - Major win: Neighbor provided aluminum ramp that allows independent access to balcony - Can now get onto balcony and back inside independently - Receives weekly Thursday emails from James Clear with quotes and questions - Discovered new neighbor may be horse person based on footwear @Claudia Wondra - Maintaining awareness of posture during walking - sometimes able to stand straight while walking - Attended Courage Kenny lecture about adaptive sports and recreation - Discovered many more adaptive sports options than expected: swimming, pickleball, skiing - Considering trying skiing this winter (never skied before)

Worth reading 10x!
Who's loving Atomic Habits so far!? This passage on page 19 is so relevant to the conversation that we had in our last accountability call! @Claudia Wondra - negative thoughts compound and cloud the lense through which we see our whole life. I'm so glad you were brave enough to shine a light on your negative thoughts and are beginning to compound positive thoughts. Your vulnerability has given me so much food for thought over the last few weeks and has helped me challenge my own limiting beliefs.
Worth reading 10x!
Stretching Sessions
Our Taskmaster, aka Brittney, has certainly upped her game on these weekday morning sessions! It started out being a (relatively) easy 12 minute class. Now it is a more serious 25 minute session. I am working up a sweat now! Mind you, I am probably the oldest person in the class, so I’m glad I had today to recover. But I’m glad she has increased the time and has varied the workouts, as I know in my mind that this will give me more benefit. As long as the rest of you don’t mind my puffing and grunting lol!

@Jim Smith I'm very grateful that all of you have decided to take this journey with me!
Spring Into Health Rescheduled to June
I'm soooooo sorry that I didn't post about this! I mentioned it in the Accountability Call but forgot to post about it! The nutrition course that I'll be hosting (labeled Spring Into Health in the Calendar) is going to be postponed until the beginning of June. I'd like to get more people into the community before we begin and just didn't get a chance to do any promotion! If you guys would like to invite people to join the group I'd be so appreciative. I'd like to grow the community and make it an amazing place full of people with disabilities of all kinds working towards their goals together!
