“Mom Is Not Forever”
One afternoon, I sat with my friend at a coffee shop. My friend rolled her eyes and said,Friend: “Mother’s Day? I don’t really care. Moms always complain anyway.” I looked at her quietly. Me: “Maybe… but my mom sacrificed so much for me. In our family, we were raised to care, call, visit, and honor our parents. Family matters.” Suddenly, in my heart, I felt Jesus gently speaking. Jesus: “My child, tell me… who stayed awake when you were sick?” Me: “My mom.” Jesus: “Who worried when you were late?” Me: “My mom.” Jesus: “Who prayed when no one saw?” Tears filled my eyes. Me: “My mom…” My friend became quiet. Friend: “I never thought of it like that. I just assumed moms are supposed to do these things.” Jesus smiled gently. Jesus: “Love should never be taken for granted. Even I honored My mother.” Friend: “But Jesus… sometimes I get busy.” Jesus: “Busy should never become an excuse for forgetting love. One day, you may wish for one more phone call, one more hug, one more meal at her table.” I looked at my friend. Me: “My mom is not perfect, but she is a gift. I don’t want to wait until regret teaches me love.” Jesus looked at us both with kindness. Jesus: “Honor your mother not only on one day… but with your heart, your words, your time, and your kindness.” My friend wiped a tear. Friend: “Maybe I should call my mom today.” Jesus smiled. Jesus: “That would make heaven smile too.” 📖 Bible Exodus 20:12“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.” And when Jesus was on the cross, He cared for His mother:Bible John 19:26–27Jesus made sure Mary would be cared for. 🌷 Lesson Do not take your mom for granted.Call her. Hug her. Appreciate her. Pray for her. Help her. Love her while you can. Mothers are not perfect, but many carry silent sacrifices we never see. The greatest gift is not flowers — it is love, respect, time, and gratitude. 🙏 Prayer “Jesus, thank You for the gift of mothers. Help me honor, respect, and care for my mom with love and kindness. Teach me not to take her sacrifices for granted. Heal broken relationships and help us love like You love. Amen.”

“A Lesson Written in Sore Hands and Tears”
“A Lesson Written in Sore Hands and Tears” Yesterday, I thought I was only building something. “Easy,” I told myself. “How hard can it be?” I picked things up. I bent down. I carried. I pushed. I worked. At first, I felt strong. But slowly… my back started hurting. My hands became sore. My legs felt heavy. By the end of the day, my whole body ached. I sat down quietly. I could barely move. And suddenly… tears filled my eyes. Not only because of the pain. But because of the lesson. I whispered softly, “Jesus… is this how workers feel every day?” The construction workers. The people building roads. The ones carrying heavy things. The people who clean, lift, fix, and build homes while others pass by without noticing. I felt so small. Because I realized… How many times did I see workers and never think about their pain? How many times did I complain about little discomforts while someone else was carrying heavy burdens all day? I sat there with my sore body and tears falling. And in my heart, I felt Jesus gently speak: “Now you understand a little more.” I whispered back: “Jesus, forgive me if I ever judged people or thought their work was easy.” And I imagined Jesus sitting beside me in my tiredness, saying: “Compassion grows when you feel what others carry.” Then I started thinking… The man building houses may go home with pain nobody sees. The woman cleaning floors may smile while her back hurts. The worker fixing roads under the hot sun may be exhausted while people complain about delays. We see the finished house. We drive on the street. But we forget the tired hands that built them. That night, I thanked God for every worker. And through my pain, God gave me a beautiful lesson: Never judge a struggle you have never carried. Sometimes God allows us to feel a little pain… so our hearts become softer toward others. Lesson Before judging people, remember:you may not know how heavy their work, pain, or life truly is. Pain can become a teacher. And compassion grows when we stop and say:

Lord, Make Me a Godly Woman❤️
One afternoon my friend looked at me and sighed dramatically. “I keep praying for a godly husband… but honestly, I don’t even know what being a godly wife looks like.” I nodded slowly. “Same.” Suddenly the room became peaceful. The Holy Spirit whispered gently: “Everyone wants kingdom blessings… but few ask Me to shape their character first.” My friend blinked. “Ouch.” I laughed nervously. “Okay Holy Spirit… what does a godly woman look like?” The Holy Spirit answered softly: “A godly woman is not perfect. She is teachable. She learns to love with wisdom, not control. She brings peace, not constant chaos.” My friend pointed at herself dramatically. “So… yelling ‘I’m fine’ while slamming cabinets is not spiritual growth?” I burst out laughing. The Holy Spirit replied kindly: “Peace is also fruit.” I asked quietly, “What else should we grow?” The Holy Spirit smiled. “Patience when life feels slow.Kindness when people are difficult.Self-control when emotions become loud.Wisdom to know when to speak and when to stay silent.” My friend crossed her arms. “This sounds hard.” The Holy Spirit answered: “Growth always is.” Then He continued: “A godly woman does not lose herself trying to be loved by people. She first learns she is already loved by God.” I became quiet. “So before becoming someone’s wife… we must first walk with God?” “Yes,” the Holy Spirit said gently.“Marriage is not meant to complete you. God should already be your foundation.” My friend suddenly gasped. “Wait… so posting ‘future wifey vibes’ is not preparation?” I laughed so hard I almost spilled my tea. The Holy Spirit chuckled softly. “Preparation happens in secret places — prayer, healing, forgiveness, humility, wisdom, and faithfulness.” Then He looked at both of us lovingly. “The most beautiful thing about a godly woman is not appearance. It is her heart becoming more like Christ.” We sat quietly for a moment. Then my friend whispered, “Okay Lord… less drama, more fruit.” And honestly… that became our new prayer.

“The Little Seed Shop in Bethlehem ”
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.”— Bible John 15:5 In the little town of Bethlehem , there was a tiny shop called“The Lord’s Garden Store.” The sign outside said: “No instant fruit sold here.”😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I walked in confused. “Excuse me,” I said to the angel behind the counter.“I came for peace. Maybe some patience too. Also… self-control before I text people emotionally.”🧐😉🤒🤕 The angel nodded seriously and disappeared into the back room. A minute later, he returned holding… tiny seed packets. I blinked.😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 “Wait. Where’s the actual fruit?” The angel smiled.“These are the actual fruit.”🤩 At that moment, Jesus walked into the shop carrying a watering can and wearing gardening gloves. One man in town complained loudly: “Lord, I asked for patience LAST WEEK.”🤣 Jesus nodded.“And last week I sent you three difficult people to practice with.”🫠 The whole store became quiet.🤐🤐🤐 Another lady crossed her arms.“I asked for peace.” Jesus smiled gently.“Yes… and I allowed life to slow down so you would learn to rest in Me instead of your schedule.” Then I looked at my tiny seed packet. “But Jesus… seeds take time.”😭 Jesus laughed softly.😄😃😆 “My child, everybody wants orchard results with microwave faith.” The townspeople chuckled. Then an old gardener sitting nearby spoke up: “You don’t eat fruit the same day you plant seeds.” Jesus pointed at him dramatically.“This man understands agriculture AND spiritual growth.” Everyone laughed. A young boy in the corner asked,“So how do the seeds grow?” Jesus knelt beside him. “You stay close to Me.Like branches connected to the vine. You water the seeds with prayer, truth, kindness, and obedience. And slowly… love begins to grow where anger used to live.” Then He looked at me. “Sometimes people pray for joy while feeding sadness all day.Or pray for peace while watering fear every morning.” I sighed.“Ouch.”

“Lord, I Asked for Wisdom… Not Homework!”
I was sitting with my friends, sipping coffee, when suddenly everyone started complaining like it was a competition. My friend Sara:“Ugh, I asked God for patience… and now my boss is testing me EVERY day!” My friend Lina:“I asked for strength… and now everything in my life is heavy!” Me:“I asked for wisdom… and now I feel like I’m in school again. Lord, where is the easy version??” Then—like always—Jesus shows up (calm, smiling like He already knows the punchline). Jesus:“So… you all want gifts without the training?” Sara:“I mean… yes? Like Amazon Prime, same-day delivery?” Jesus (laughing):“My dear, patience doesn’t grow in comfort—it grows in waiting.” Lina:“And strength?” Jesus:“Strength grows when you carry things, not when you avoid them.” Me (crossing my arms):“And wisdom? Because honestly, I thought it was just… download and done.” Jesus:“Wisdom comes when you listen, ask, fail, learn, and try again—with the Holy Spirit guiding you.” My other friend jumps in:“Okay but what about when I asked for a car?” Jesus:“You got driving lessons, didn’t you?” We all went quiet. Me:“…Wait. So when I asked for health—” Jesus:“Yes. That’s why you suddenly felt guilty eating chips at midnight.” Everyone bursts out laughing. Sara:“So basically… God answers prayers—but with a process?” Jesus (smiling):“Exactly. I give you the path, not just the prize.” Me:“Lord… next time I pray, I’m going to be VERY specific.” Jesus:“Oh, I’ll still train you.” :“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously… and it will be given to you.” — James 1:5 Prayer:Lord, thank You that You answer my prayers—even when it comes with lessons I didn’t expect. Teach me to trust Your process, to grow through what I go through, and to listen to Your Spirit in every step. Give me patience to learn, strength to continue, and wisdom to understand Your ways. Amen.
