Expert Interview #2 with G.S.: How to Make AI work for YOUR Brain
What if AI could work with your ADHD brain instead of against it? Meet @G. S., Gurvinder Singh: cybersecurity professional, father, and self-described "AI hacker." He's on a mission to make technology actually work for neurodivergent minds & is a member of Focus Founders! In this conversation, we cover: ✨ Why most technology is designed for neurotypical brains (and how to hack it for yours) 🎯 The "ADHD tax:" All the invisible ways neurodivergent people struggle with tech 🔧 How to use AI to expand your thinking instead of outsourcing it 💡 Practical strategies: chatting with YouTube videos, books, and even your own previous chats 🎳 The "bowling lane guardrails" approach to staying on track Listen in if you... • Believe technology should amplify humanity rather than extract from it • Struggle with productivity tools that create more friction than they solve • Feel left behind by AI tools that promise to help but don't work with your brain • Want practical ways to democratize AI access beyond the elite few • Care about restoring dignity and choice in how we use technology 🎯 Gurvinder's #1 Tip: Ask AI open questions about your goals, not specific steps. Tell it where you're tripping up and let it work as a thinking partner, not a task manager. This one was so fun! 2nd Interview for my own Skool, all about positioning founders as experts AI can't replace. Thanks so much @G. S. !!

Day 8 Challenge: 🧠 Becoming a more grounded, embodied human
About 15 years ago I was advised by a health professional to look into meditation. (that's a story for another day #burnout) So I sat there alone with my own thoughts. I think I lasted 1 min. I was like get me out of here, this guy is crazy. My mind was racing it was impossible for me to sit alone with myself. I persisted with it and it's been a game changer for me. I won't bang on here about the virtues of meditation, happy to do another post about that. You don't have to go full monk mode. For you it might just be going for a walk in nature without your phone. Swimming in the ocean. I find the breath and 4 beat kick very meditative. Walking the dog etc. In today's world we spend much of our time avoiding ourselves. Comparing ourselves to other people we don't even know. Endlessly doom scrolling cat videos on the interwebs etc. Step away from the screen, spend some time alone. Get comfortable with yourself. Business can be a lonely pursuit, but it's a lot easier if you are comfortable in your own skin / mind.

Rise & Shine: A 21-Day Challenge to Unlock Your Potential ☀️🦁
Today is February 1st—the first day of one of the historically most challenging months for me, and for anyone else who suffers from seasonal affective disorder. As my grandma loves to say, "February is the shortest AND longest month of the year." But today is also the full moon in Leo, for all you astrology nerds out there. (Looking at you, @Matthew O'Brien! 😉) And this full moon in Leo is calling you—calling ALL of us—to step into our power and f*cking shine! To honor this full moon in my sun & ascendant signs (yes, I'm a double Leo, and yes, I am proud about it 😂🦁), I am proposing a challenge: 🌅 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗲 & 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟭-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 🌅 For the next 21 days, I’m committing to sharing one lesson per day about: - 🧠 Business & entrepreneurship - 🌱 Emotional regulation & nervous system stability - 💰 Abundance, self-trust, and sustainable success - 🧘‍♂️ Becoming a more grounded, embodied human And I’m inviting you to do this with me. 🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 🔥 Keep it simple & real: - Post one lesson per day (or whenever you feel called) - Short is perfect (3–10 sentences is plenty) - No polishing, no perfectionism - Lessons can be from wins, mistakes, patterns, or realizations The goal is to step into your power, shine your light, and OWN who you are. F*ck RSD. F*ck being "too much". F*ck being "broken". This is your time to take up space and show how f*cking powerful you really are! There are no prizes here. No one is tracking or keeping score. Miss a day? Come back. This isn't about perfection. This is about seeing how much JOY and EASE we can bring into our practice. Let's rise together. Let's shine. Are you with me?

What is your service?
I've connected with such incredible humans through this community-each with such a beautiful offering, and a deep story of growth. As a community, we can support and learn more about one another by connecting and aligning in language and transparency. I would love to open the floor and learn about what you do, what you're working towards, and what your offering is. To begin, let me introduce my practice: I created The Ancient Dance on my return from Peru and my initiation into Shamanism. The intention behind this practice is to remind individuals of their light (their power) and guide them back to their authenticity. We do this through 1:1 online sessions, and programs uniquely designed to meet their needs. The idea here is to let go of any self-limiting beliefs, move through any trauma that is hindering growth and transformation, and return to the self through mind, body, and spirit realignment. This is my medicine, my service, and my greatest honour. Please share your work and let's connect x With love and reverence, Michaela

The Limit is You
I read this article that spoke into the 'Black Coffee Theory'. Across workplaces and personal growth journeys, there’s a simple, yet revealing pattern: people often describe their goals through avoidance. They say what they don’t want: “I don’t want burnout,” “I don’t want uncertainty,” “I don’t want to feel stuck.” This is where the Black Coffee Theory comes in. Imagine someone walks into a café and repeatedly tells the barista, “I don’t want black coffee.” The barista, hearing nothing else, remembers only that. And chances are, black coffee is exactly what ends up at the table. When we fixate on what we’re trying to escape from, our energy, choices, and mindset stay anchored to that very outcome. Avoidance feels like clarity, but it’s actually directionless. Even Einstein’s insight applies here: problems can’t be solved from the same level of thinking that created them. If the focus is only on frustration, scarcity, or fear, those patterns quietly repeat themselves. But when we shift towards defining what we do want like growth, stability, creativity, abundance, our internal compass realigns. Our decisions sharpen. Our opportunities expand. Progress becomes possible the moment we stops ordering life by saying “not this,” and starts asking for what we truly want. Here's your opportunity-share what you WANT and let's manifest your greatest dream together!
