Planning vs Follow-Through
I’ve been noticing a pattern that keeps coming up for me. My plans are usually solid. The problem isn’t creating them—it’s sticking to them. Once I mentally walk through all the steps, my brain kind of checks the box and moves on. Then I tell myself things like, “I’ll get to that after I do this real quick,” knowing full well that’s probably not happening 😅 Later I’m stressed because it’s still hanging over me, even though it feels like I already “did it” in my head. Curious if anyone else deals with this, and what’s helped you actually follow through.

@Frank Palomino I like to do the fun stuff. So things like admin, tax, paying the speeding fines, bills etc get ignored. Been avoiding the tax man for a while, so need to give him some love this year :) I tend to put Admin time blocks in my calendar now. Doesn't always work, but I do find once I start I plough through these things pretty quick. Jeff Bezos once said "Stress is caused by the things you know you should be doing but don't do". (something along those lines) That's very true for me. Life is much easier when I'm on top of my shit.

@Frank Palomino Spiderman, reminds me of another one of my favourite quotes: "With great power comes great responsibility."
ADHD Entrepreneurs: What Helps Your Brain Stay Clear?
Being an ADHD entrepreneur can feel like living in two worlds at the same time — the world of big ideas, creativity, and passion… and the world of overwhelm, physical tension, and trying to keep the wheels from flying off the wagon. 😅 One thing I don’t hear talked about enough is how much our bodies affect our focus and follow-through.When my neck or shoulders are flaring, my brain feels 10x more scattered. Pain = distraction. Over the past few months, I’ve been working on a simple goal:🌿 reduce physical discomfort🌿 simplify my systems🌿 and support my brain so it can actually focus on the things that matter. And honestly? The difference in my clarity has been huge. Curious — for those of you with ADHD:What physical habits or wellness tools make the biggest difference in your ability to focus, get things done, or stay calm? I’d love to swap insights. 💚🧠✨

Meditation, Swimming, Kayaking, walking dog, no alcohol, trying to consume less sugar... During my Xmas break I got out of my routine. I didn't meditate for 3 weeks, I really noticed the difference, my mind was much more scattered. Back into my routine now.
ADHD Things
Anyone else feel like some days they need someone to just follow them around body doubling all day to get things done? No? Just me? 🤔

It's called my wife. She still puts name tags on my stuff.
Ever Wonder why?......
Some days people don’t just distract you — they derail your entire nervous system? You think it’s them. Plot twist: It’s often hormones, ADHD overload, or the moon spinning too close to your last nerve. True story: we’ve just moved house. I asked my husband to unload the dishwasher. He did. Gold star ⭐ But… everything stayed on the counter. When I asked why, he said with all sincerity: “I didn’t know where things went.” Now, as a hormonally-aware, ADHD-brained entrepreneur, this is where my brain goes from productive CEO to kitchen meltdown in 3 seconds flat. However, instead of losing it, I breathed and offered a free kitchen tour: Cups up top. Cutlery drawer one. Plates drawer two. Pots drawer three. Dishwasher products under the sink!-oh, and I threw in a dishwasher demonstration! Here’s the truth: When your hormones are shifting and your ADHD brain is already juggling 27 tabs, logic from other humans can feel personally offensive. Bush Flower Elixirs can be super helpful ✨ Emergency – stops the emotional explosion ✨ Calm & Clear – clears mental clutter so you don’t snap ✨ Women’s Essence – steadies hormones and emotional reactivity Works for kids, pets… and absolutely for husbands. 👉 Entrepreneur rule: Breathe, remedy first, conversation later. Please tell me — what’s the most illogical thing your other half has done lately? 😄

My wife once asked me to put a load of washing on. So I put all the clothes in the dryer and added the washing power... Other specials skills are flooding the house, garden (over filling pool), Burning food, leaving gas on cooker. These days I set my watch timer for those sort of things. One of the benefits at sucking at so many things is I'm great at delegating!
Me, myself and I...
Hi , i'm really excited already to read those shared experiences. Making a story "very short"looking back : - I'm a sale person, loves to talk but once the deal is secured, I'm gone. - That's why I've been looking for the perfect tool since I made my first sale. - Each time I found myself in a both friendly and productive environment, I didn't even think about my condition, I just wanted a team to be successful which made the business rather successful - As far back as I can remember I loved school music sport but never managed to put in the work . doing the same thing more than twice it's not an option but finding the way to get it done without shame dropping it on my assistant desk has always been rewarding and we're living the golden age of automation so... Guess this was the way to introduce myself to the community 😬

"I'm a sale person, loves to talk but once the deal is secured, I'm gone." Yep that's me to. The Tool I used to manage my 'one touch' process is called DragApp. All my leads come in via email. I then close the deal on the phone, as conversion is way higher and only takes 5 mins of my time, life time value of client is in the 1000s so worth it. Once the email lead is closed I then 'drag it' from my inbox to the onboardings teams inbox. Which is 'Kanban' board of 'jobs'. Like a CRM so the team can take it from there and deliver the service. If there are any issues / support emails I can also 'drag' them to the support inbox. I can comment / chat with the team directly on the email board. This keeps my inbox under control.
