what I learned from the sardine challenge
After going over our lesson plan I was able to compare my eating sardines schedule along side my graph of ketones/glucose. My eating time window correlated with my best numbers: 5 hour eating window and started at 10am. As I look to eat earlier in the day this lesson plan helped me see that earlier and shorter eating times support my goals.

Sardine End
When my sardine challenge ended: I wondered what I would do with all those leftover tins of sardines - no worries, my team supplied the answer: Eat em
C8/C10 MCT oil
Yesterday I researched the MCT oil I use to verify that it is indeed the C8/C10 MCT oil we are looking for. Here's what I found: Caprylic acid = C8 and Capric acid =C10. So the MCT oil I use meets the standard. If your interested, I buy it from Vitacost, Nature's Way Organic MCT oil, 30 oz, $30
End of Sardine Fast!
broke my with a fatty coffee at 6:22 this morning..will have my last can of sardines before class today..Great job everyone!
Could it be consistency??
I didn't have the fantastic numbers that I achieved yesterday. I ate 2 not 4 tins of sardines and earlier in the day. Today I am really busy and I may have to take up Anita's "have sardines will travel". Even though my fast will officially end at 11:30am today, I think I'll just finish out today and wake up tomorrow for a nice breakfast.
