Quick reflection from this past week.
I was in a minor accident on 01/02/25 drizzling, nightfall, stopped at a light 🚦 when it turned green and the other car crossed into my lane and clipped my front passenger fender. Everyone is okay 🙏🏼. Car’s in the body shop and I was given a loaner… a brand new Toyota RAV4.
Here’s the plot twist:
The seat is manual.
I’m 5’0. Between my partner and me, that means 4–7 pumps just to get my seat up every single time 😅.
At first, I laughed. Then it hit me.
How often do we complain about small inconveniences… when the real win is that we can do the thing?
I have the strength, mobility, and energy to pump my seat up. Some people are struggling just to get out of bed.
So today’s reminder for myself:
✨ Perspective matters.
✨ Gratitude beats frustration.
✨ Not every inconvenience deserves a complaint.
Sometimes life just asks us to manually adjust our mindset.
👉 What’s one small thing you used to complain about that you now see differently?
Let’s hear it 💬💛
