I’ll be missing this Saturday’s F45 Training class (hello hair appointment πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ), so I decided to make it up early with a cardio day todayβ€”and YES, Coach Amber was coaching πŸ™Œ (my favorite, she always knows how to push me).
Workout Format:
Bears 🐻18 stations
2 sets each βœ…
β€’ Set 1: 35s work / 10s rest
β€’ Set 2: 55s work / 20s rest
She got me GOOD at the rowers πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
βœ… Set 1: paced at 20s/m
βœ… Set 2 goal: 150 meters in 55 sec
πŸ‘‰ Reality check… I hit 100 meters And you know what? Coach Amber said: β€œGood job, close enoughβ€”I’ll take it.” πŸ’―
I haven’t done cardio like this in a while… and I definitely felt it. Also went in fasted (wasn’t hungry), but halfway through I was like… yeahhh, some fuel would’ve helped me push a bit more πŸ₯΄
Takeaway: Cardio hits different when you’ve been strength-focusedβ€”and fueling matters more than we think.
