Update on my 12 lb weighted vest: I learned real quick that 10β20 minutes is my max right now. My body felt like a truck ran it over π My back was SO sore, so Iβm easing it down and dialing it back a bit.
For now, Iβm wearing it once a day during my walk for about 10β20 minutes max.
Of course, my partner had to be a smart ass and said, βYou didnβt read the instructions and follow through. Thatβs why your back is sore.β
Me: π βWhatever, bruh.β
Then I told him Coach Darren said itβs actually a good way to enhance strength and burn extra calories β but yes, noted, I need to take it easy. At least Iβm challenging myself.
And then he stayed quiet π€«π
Lesson learned: challenge yourself, but donβt let your ego wear the vest longer than your body is ready for.
