🧠 Thoughtful Thursday: Keeping It Simple When Life Feels Heavy
This week tested me a bit.
With everything going on with my daughter, I found myself battling stress eating and honestly feeling in that “whatever” mindset with tracking. Not because I don’t care… but because mentally, I just felt overwhelmed.
I reached out to my coach and he gave me two options:
1️⃣ Track everything—even if I stress eat
2️⃣ Don’t track, but fully commit to my approved meals and keep things simple
And it made me pause and realize…
👉 This journey isn’t just about nutrition or tracking.
👉 It’s about learning how to make better decisions when life isn’t perfect
I chose to simplify instead of adding pressure.
Focusing on:
✔️ Protein at each meal
✔️ Meals I already know and trust
✔️ Staying consistent with my routines
Not perfect… but intentional
