I just ate food I did not plan to eat and way overindulged. It's food truck Friday season again here at our local fire dept, and my usual isn't here. I normally get a "koco bowl" from a Korean food truck which has rice, lots of veggies, bulgogi, and a fried egg. It's so good and feels like a treat that's well worth the calories. Unfortunately, they weren't there today, but I knew that ahead of time and planned to make myself something at home while the rest of the fam got food trucks.
Well, it was a parking lot full of heavenly smells and I pulled right into temptation station. I ended up eating a little bit of multiple things that included cheesy crab dip, sweet waffle covered in sugar, French fries, and more. My calorie budget was murdered. I know I would feel so much better right now if I had stuck to my original plan.
But, I didn't.
I can't turn back time. All I can do is make the choice to get over it and next meal normal tomorrow. I just keep telling myself over and over...do not beat yourself up over it, you're human, it happens...but I really wish I hadn't done that. I've been so strong! I feel like I let myself down. Here for encouragement. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸΌ
