Lap 1 hitsโ€ฆ I get to bench hops and BOOM โ€” my leggings start rolling down ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Had to stop a few times just to pull my pants up. I told my coach:
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œCoachโ€ฆ I think I have a problemโ€ฆ Iโ€™m losing weight and my pants wonโ€™t stay on.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜
Already knew Lap 2 was going to be spicy, so I had to think QUICK:
WTF am I gonna do?! ๐Ÿ˜‚
Solution:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Tucked my shirt into my leggings like a champ.
Lap 2 = LOCKED IN ๐Ÿ”’
Hit 49 bench hops in 45 seconds ๐Ÿฅต (problem solved!)
Then our new coach (didnโ€™t catch her name) comes over while weโ€™re already GASSED:
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œOkay ladies, Iโ€™m just testing your performance โ€” I want 120 meters on the rowers.โ€
Mind youโ€ฆ this is Lap 2โ€ฆ we are already exhausted ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
We said OK COACHโ€ฆ
45 seconds later โ€” 120m DONE.
Her response?
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œThat was too easy for you.โ€ ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Then comes Lap 3 and here walks in our favorite Coach Amber who KNOWS how we perform:
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ โ€œOkay Ladiesssssโ€ฆ 180 meters. 45 seconds on the clock โฐ GOOOO!โ€
Adrenaline kicked in, socks almost flew off ๐Ÿ˜‚
๐Ÿ‘‰ 180m HIT. FELT SO GOOD.
โœจ Old me wouldโ€™ve been embarrassed about my pants falling down and used it as an excuse to slow down or quit.
โœจ New me adjusts, laughs, tucks my shirt in, and keeps pushing.
Moral of the story:
