My nail tech looked at me today and goes:βAre you taking GLP injections?β π±π€
I was likeβ¦ wait WHAT?! π
She told me sheβs known me for a while, seen my weight go up and down over the yearsβ¦ but this is the leanest sheβs ever seen me with my weight loss being consistent.
And now?Anytime she sees someone losing weight, she assumes itβs GLP because βeveryone is on it.β π
Not gonna lie⦠that caught me off guard.
I told herβNo shortcuts here. No cheat codes.
Just the unsexy stuff:
βοΈ Tracking my food (even when I donβt feel like it)
βοΈ Strength training consistently
βοΈ Getting my steps in daily
βοΈ Working on my mindset (THIS is the real work)
Donβt get me wrongβno judgment at all if someone is using medical support under a doctor.
But THIS journey for me? Itβs built on habits I can sustain for life πͺ
Because what people see is the resultβ¦But what they DONβT see is:
π The discipline
π The days I didnβt feel motivated
π The consistency over time
No shadeβ¦ but alsoβ¦ give yourself more credit if youβre putting in the work ππ₯.
