My nail tech looked at me today and goes:“Are you taking GLP injections?” 😱🤔
I was like… wait WHAT?! 😂
She told me she’s known me for a while, seen my weight go up and down over the years… but this is the leanest she’s ever seen me with my weight loss being consistent.
And now?Anytime she sees someone losing weight, she assumes it’s GLP because “everyone is on it.” 👀
Not gonna lie… that caught me off guard.
I told her—No shortcuts here. No cheat codes.
Just the unsexy stuff:
✔️ Tracking my food (even when I don’t feel like it)
✔️ Strength training consistently
✔️ Getting my steps in daily
✔️ Working on my mindset (THIS is the real work)
Don’t get me wrong—no judgment at all if someone is using medical support under a doctor.
But THIS journey for me? It’s built on habits I can sustain for life 💪
Because what people see is the result…But what they DON’T see is:
👉 The discipline
👉 The days I didn’t feel motivated
👉 The consistency over time
No shade… but also… give yourself more credit if you’re putting in the work 👏🔥.
