About the optimising cart abandoned flow
Hi @Nabeel Azeez, first of all, thanks for shooting this massively undervalued training video. I'm in the midst of helping and advising a supplement brand startup with their email side of things. As I'm in the process of planning, these questions came into my mind: 1)Say the store has many best-selling products, that means I need to craft unique cart abandonment flows based on each best-selling product then? 2)Say a prospect adds 2 of the best-selling products, (but not sold in a bundle), the prospect will be receiving 2 different cart abandonment flows?
My client doesn't want me to clean her email list.
Yes, you heard it right. In her view, the only exceptions worth removing are those who fall outside the target audience entirely such as men(she is a women's libido coach) and non-English speakers (e.g., Russian-speaking contacts) How to handle this situation??

Grouping 67 email list segments
Wanted to pop a question and share some good news! Question- Reviewing my MSP's warm list in HubSpot, and before editing, it sits comfortably at 67 email list segments. Which may be great to segmentize the pools of subscribers; however, I've noticed some groups overlap, and my client has been segmenting the lists for different promotions since mid 2024... hence the uber large amount of segments! For example, we have Lead-gen lists from segmented cold outreach using Apollo (lists are segmented via sector and enterprise sizes targeted) and lists including specific past client/partner group emails. Additionally, most lists have as few as 7-150 subscribers; however, larger lists (especially Apollo lead-gen lists... ) total around 7000 emails with roughly 8 segments within. Note the main (general) marketing list for warm campaigns to new leads (excluding past clients since they are currently in a separate list) sits at around 650. Nabeel, my question is, how would you group these 67 segmentations (un-segment) most simply? I have my base for cold email lead-gen we discussed, however, with the many separate lists for emails collected from different events and promotions over the past 2 years... how would you personally segment down if needed? Cheers, appreciate your time!😀 Good news- crafted a creative marketing strategy and tested today at a networking event with the client and leveraged live giveaways for access to their email and SMS... pulled 57 leads and 4 especially hot leads keen to book a meeting straight away! One of the hot leads I pitched to myself, outside of the great giveaway. LinkedIn is also ramping up thanks to the advice. Interviewing my client for content to repurpose next week while I collaborate with the sales team to understand all the client's objections and pain points. Have access to sales call / cold call recordings, which is super helpful.
Plan to double retainer with current client
Hi guys, could use your feedback. I am currently at 4.5k USD / month retainer. I’ve been with this client for 3 years doing everything from email copy to promos to editorial content writing. I have had some other clients occasionally, and my highest month has been about 8k USD. Nabeel recommended I come up with a plan to increase his income so I can double my retainer. Here’s my plan to boost traffic for the client: 1. Generate traffic on twitter by growing branded account (Nabeel suggests instagram instead) 2. Get client on more regular podcast appearances. 3. He has a low-ticket substack, which I can also grow using notes and other ways for lead gen. 4. New front-end offers to come from new thesis client is writing for post-singularity investing + from content below 3. Update Website & Add Blog - Transfer all old newsletter and blog content into Obsidian and connect to Claude along with news updates to create blog content + re-distribution on socials. For financial website: 1. I worked on creating an offer for financial website to transition from display ads and affiliate revenue to a paid offer. (needs to get approved) - I have a $27 front end. and a $97 core offer. We can also A/B test $29/month subscription offer for the re-branded financial Newsletter. 2. Keep growing the 6700 twitter account to drive traffic to the site. 3. Updating SEO keywords on site. Site is 95% direct traffic
