❌ 5 Common Mistakes In Copy ❌
Hey everyone, wanted to share 5 mistakes people learning copy make (I did as well!).
1: NARCISSIM — Writing copy in a way that only YOU would buy or only YOU would believe. Remember that your psychology is unique and other people think differently than you. Learn how to speak to the masses and don't believe that your way of thinking is the only way.
2: COPYCAT SYNDROME — Basically, copying what other people write. What works for one successful copywriter will NOT work for YOU. If you just copy someone else, then people will be able to sense it, and it will come across as forced and fake.
1: WORRYING TOO MUCH— You worry excessively about what others will think of you, and it stops you from being authentic in your copy. It's true that some people will simply be a negative spark in your life and will try and put you down. Don't give an ounce of your attention to them.
1: PARALYSIS BY ANALYSIS — I.E NOT Practicing! You watch videos, read books, buy the latest and greatest new course... and you don't take action. Yes, invest in your learning, watch videos but once you do so take action IMMEDIATELY!
1: "I'M NOT TALENTED" — Believing that copy is a talent and not a learned skill. No one is born knowing great copy. They learned it. There are high school kids, college dropouts, recovering drug addicts etc. that have all made millions off copywriting. They were willing to fail when no one was willing to try.
Read this over and truly digest it so you can avoid these mistakes. We're only 2 weeks into 2025 and you all have the ability to become something great by the end of the year 💪
