Day 17 - Daily post
✍️ One Upwork proposal sent 👀 Upwork proposal from yesterday viewed by prospect but no contact received so far. 🚩 Lesson learnt - NEVER START WORK AND DELIVER WITHOUT THE CONTRACT MILESTONES BEING FUNDED! Wrote copy for two landing pages Asked client to fund the milestones first (standard practice on UpWork) and they have paid me before so I trusted them. Now they are ghosting me when its time to pay. My mistake - lesson learnt. Hopefully they come thru with payment soon but I am not delivering the remaining milestone until they do.

Four Facebook ads experts - free
I'm lucky to be in Jordan Hall's Rising Tide group. Even luckier to know Liana, Curt, and David personally from our live events. I've seen them present "What's Working Now" live and one thing I love is they are continually optimizing and experimenting. They honestly love helping people get around obstacles they've solved and generously share to save others the pain of figuring things out using trial and error. Please attend if you're interested and feel free to share the link. https://events.thevipcrew.com/ads Even though I don't manage Facebook ads for clients I would pay for this presentation just to stay up to date.
Let's go guys.
It doesn't matter if you listen to Abeel Nazeez https://youtu.be/Zk2snf66yIw?si=oCzQeg2OqRa-tJ-G or Matthew Wolkvin, Dan Koe, Ian Stanley... whatever Everybody can build a reasonable income online. Things that you need: 1. Skill 2. Online presence 3. Self-management Online presence is a priority. If you are not a native speaker, start speaking English regularly so you'll fix your accent. 2 hours of deep work per day, split between learning and executing. Then go ahead, approach new people, start building relationships, and pitch your work. Your first goal is to build momentum. Give yourself 6 months.
