How A Simple Question Can Change Everything (And Why It Matters in Copywriting)
"How much is a life worth?" The question landed like a well-placed ad Sharp Unexpected Impossible to ignore The young man looked up from his coffee and saw an older woman across him: Polished refined Calm She stirred her drink slowly like she had all the time in the world. A question like that wasn't casual. It was deliberate. It was bait. [What Does This Have to Do With Copywriting?] Great copy isn’t loud. It’s not desperate. It doesn’t beg for attention. It demands it. A single, well-placed question can hook someone instantly, forcing them to engage, to lean in, to answer. Whether they want to or not. 🔥(COPY LESSON: The best copy doesn’t sell—it pulls you in by making you think.) "Depends" The younger man said, "People die for money 💰. For love 💔." "Some lives are worth more than others I guess." The older woman smiled "You think so? … "…Or do we just tell ourselves that?" 🎯 (COPY LESSON: When writing copy, you don’t dump all the information at once. Think of it as a staircase. Each line makes you want to take the next step.) The young man frowned. Was this a test? A joke? "You're overthinking it." He muttered, "We make choices. We live with them." The older woman nodded like she already knew the answer Like she was expecting it. She took one last sip, then stood up and walked away without saying a word. No explanation. No conclusion… just gone. And yet the young man felt like something had been left behind. A weight in the air. A presence that lingered. A warning 🚨 💡 (COPY LESSON: Great copy doesn’t give all the answers—it leaves just enough open to stay with you.) [FLASHBACK] Glass shattering. A gunshot. His brother falling. The memory crashed over him, dragging him backwards. That night. The deal. The setup it wasn't supposed to go this way It was supposed to be easy. A clean payday. No one was supposed to get hurt… Yet the young man had withheld information from his older brother. thinking it wouldn't matter… But the older brother had been suspicious. Sensing something was off.

@Kunal Anand Yes. Words are powerful and we just have to learn how to use them.

I believe some courses, and some high ticket mentorships are worth it. I'm not gonna tell you what to do exactly but first you have to ask yourself, "Am I disciplined enough to take action?" If you are then i first recommend doing free stuff. Do the starter kit here. And then decide if you want to buy a course once you understand your mindset and if you're truly an action taker.
Experience with Copywriting Courses?
I’m curious—does anyone have experience with copywriting coaches? I’ve watched a lot of YouTube content and even chatted with Matthew Morgan personally. He seems solid, but $3,000 is a lot (too much for me). That got me thinking: If copywriting is so profitable, why do many coaches focus on selling expensive courses instead of just writing? Why not offer affordable coaching or free content like Simon Squibb does? I really like Matthew and believe he’s genuine, but there are so many “gurus” charging thousands without even offering 1:1 coaching. And with fake reviews/screenshots being so easy, it’s hard to tell who’s legit. Have you ever bought a course? Was it worth it? Am I overthinking this? Share your experience! And @Alicia, if you see this—thank you for building this free platform! Do you offer coaching yourself?

I have personally purchased a high ticket mentorship (not for copywriting). You have to do your research diligently and really understand what you're getting. I'm personally happy with the mentorship I bought but it also taught me that no matter what, YOU still have to put in the work. No mentor is ever gonna save you. As long as you have that mindset I do believe some are worth it.
Newbie Here :)
I heard a rumor that copywriting is the real deal! So I figured it’s time to dive in. Looking forward to learning from all of you!
