What Makes a Course Successful - Replay Available
What a great session this morning! We talked about: - the role of courses in your Skool community, - why people might not be visiting your classroom, - what makes a successful course, - strategies for monetizing your group, and - questions you can ask yourself to determine if there is room for improvement in your course or community! The entire session was about 50 minutes long with 30 minutes of questions/discussion at the end. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙡 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙀𝙎𝙏, so watch it as soon as you can! As part of this training, I am also offering a one-hour 1:1 Classroom Clarity Call for anyone who is interested in having an expert educator review their classroom/community and help you strategize best next steps for your classroom content. If you are interested, you can check it out here! 😊

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.
HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Three and a half years ago, I walked out of my teaching career.
I had taught in public schools in the U.S. and abroad. I loved my students. I loved education. But I knew I wanted to make a bigger impact and create more freedom for my family. So I left. No backup plan. No guaranteed income. Just a dream and a deep belief that I could build something meaningful. It has not been a straight line. There were seasons where I questioned myself. Moments where I worked way too many hours. Launches that did not land the way I thought they would. Times I almost convinced myself to play smaller. But I kept going. Today I work from anywhere. I earn consistent income. I have a product line on Amazon. I lead a community of creators building sustainable businesses. And I am still learning every single week. I just released a YouTube video sharing some of the biggest lessons from these past three and a half years. The real ones. The ones I wish someone had sat me down and told me when I first left my 9 to 5. If you are building a Skool community, creating offers, or trying to grow without burning yourself out, I think you will resonate with this. Not because I have it all figured out. But because I am in it. Building. Refining. Choosing discipline over drama. Choosing structure over chaos. Choosing sustainability over hustle. If you watch it, I would truly love your thoughts. Creator to creator. Thank you for being in the arena with me. Sybil 💛
#TIPTUESDAY ✦ The 90-Second Pause That Changes Cravings
If cravings feel like they come out of nowhere, here’s the part most advice skips. ➡️The problem: Most women assume a craving means “I want this food.” But when a craving hits, it’s usually because something just triggered it, like an emotion, a thought, or a time-of-day pattern, not because your body suddenly needs that food. 💥For a lot of women, that trigger is simply: “It’s that time of day (or evening).” ➡️The tip: Before deciding anything, give yourself 90 seconds. ⏱️ Not to resist or talk yourself out of it. Just to notice. Ask yourself: ✅️What just happened? ✅️What am I feeling right now? ✅️Is this familiar for this time of day? That short pause builds awareness. And awareness, NOT WILLPOWER, is what creates choice. ➡️Why this works: When you stop treating cravings like emergencies and start seeing them as information, they lose a lot of their power. You do NOT have to win the moment. You just have to SEE it. How my community helps: Inside Fit Women 50+, we practice spotting these patterns before they turn into autopilot eating or skipped movement. Especially for women 50+, this clarity-first approach makes habits feel calmer, lighter, and far more sustainable. 🌟If this tip resonated, you’d feel right at home. 👉 Join us here: Fit Women 50+

Please Introduce Yourself
One of the most important things I've learned since becoming an online entrepreneur is that the most important thing you can do to grow your business is to build relationships. Many of us (myself included) have rushed to promote our groups and services that we care so deeply about. And it only makes sense - we are excited about what we are doing! Today, I'd like to invite you to take a step back and introduce yourself to the group by answering the following questions: 1. Who are you personally? 2. Who are you professionally? 3. What is something you love doing outside of work? 4. What is something surprising about you? As you open up and make more connections, you will find that not only are people more interested in what you do, but they will also be more interested in helping you make connections with other people they know! 😉 After you introduce yourself, please scroll through the other introductions and add a comment to someone you have something in common with or would like to know more about. 😊 Please add your introduction in the comments below! ⬇️
