🎉 Posting Party Begins on Monday - Are You In???
It's been awhile since I hosted a posting prompt party, so I thought this would be a great time to get all our new members involved as well as stir up some of you that are maybe feeling a bit uninspired. Starting on Monday, I will post a prompt for you to respond to. The party will culminate with a live meet up of the PERSONALS on Friday! 🎉 Rules of Engagement: 1. Have fun with it and don't overthink it! 2. Be careful about WHERE to post. I will let you know if you should post in the comments or in a new thread. 3. For every post you make, leave at least 2 comments on other people's posts. 4. Try to make thoughtful comments and/or ask questions. This is a great opportunity to build relationships and get to know each other - a crucial skill in business. Gifs are fun, but are not considered a comment by themselves. 😉 Are you up for it? Give me a sign in the comments below and then have a great weekend!

I’m Exploring a New Way to Support Serious Group Owners — I’d Love Your Thoughts
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to better support CLASSIFIEDS members who are actively growing their Skool groups and who want more than a place to post - specifically, more visibility, stronger relationships, and meaningful opportunities to collaborate. 🗺️ I’m exploring the idea of a small, curated cohort for group owners who are committed to helping each other grow in practical, generous ways. If you’ve been part of a mastermind before, this might look a little different from what you’re picturing, and that’s intentional. 🧭 Here’s the rough direction I’m considering: - A very small group (intentionally capped around 10-15) - Members who are actively growing paid or monetized groups - Monthly, facilitated sessions focused on: collaboration, cross-promotion, and reciprocal teaching/sharing - Opportunities for members to be featured or highlighted publicly through interviews or collaborations 💵 This wouldn’t be a traditional coaching program or a hot-seat-heavy mastermind. The value would come from: - The people in the room - The relationships formed - And the collective momentum created through collaboration It also wouldn’t be for everyone, and that’s by design. The goal would be quality, alignment, and follow-through, not scale. 💕 I’d love your input on one thing (no pressure to answer everything although you can if you would like): - What part of this sounds most valuable to you? - What questions would you have if you were considering something like this? - If you’ve never joined a small cohort like this before, what would help you understand whether it’s a good fit? There’s nothing to “opt into” yet, I’m simply gathering perspective as I shape the idea. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping me build things that actually serve the people here. I'm really excited about this next chapter! 🎉

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

Is the number on the scale a good measure of fitness progress, or lack thereof?
If you woke up tomorrow and had lost all your muscles overnight, would the number on the scale be lower? You betcha!! I think you'd agree that this would NOT be actual progress in terms of your health and wellness. If you started doing strength training and building muscle consistently, would the number on the scale go up? Heck yes, since muscle weight more than fat. Would it be bad that the scale has gone up due to more muscle on your body? Considering that muscle is a great partner in good metabolic health, I would say you want to maximize the amount of muscle you have on your body! Increasing muscle is a great thing, even though it makes the number on the scale go up. Did you know that Elvis had 40 pounds of poop in his colon when he passed away?! Not sure if that's actually true or an urban legend repeated in magazines, but many of us can benefit from having more regular bowel movements, and this can absolutely impact the number on the scale. These are just some of the reasons I don't like using the weight on the scale as the only way to measure progress with health goals, or lack of it. The weight on the scale is ONE data point. It can be interesting to track it occasionally for information, but it shouldn't be the only data point we use. Below are data points I prefer to use more consistently in terms of measuring progress with health and wellness... How do I feel? Do I feel generally balanced and fit, happy and peaceful, empowered around making healthy choices frequently and at peace with the choices I make? Do I feel strong when I engage in movement? Do I see muscle definition? Do my clothes fit well? There are machines which can measure your percentage of muscle and body fat, and even the health of your bones. I haven't actually tried one yet, but those might also be a better data point in terms of progress than the scale. How do you measure your progress towards your health and wellness goals, fellow Thriver? Do you use the scale, as part of that picture?
