#TipTuesday - Feeling In a Funk? Try This With Your Body
Have you ever notice how when you feel blah, stuck, or low⌠that your body is usually slumped, heavy, smaller or slouching? Tip: Start with your body. Notice your posture. Is your posture slumped, slouching or collapsed? Are you holding your breath or maybe you have shallowness of breath? Do you feel tightness through your chest or shoulders? Take a moment, move, get up, open your chest and arms, stretch, or stand tall, let your spine lengthen for just 30 seconds AND notice what shifts. Your body can lead you out of stuckness, out of blah, out of low energy. In The Body Wisdom Way, we practice listening to the bodyâs signals so it can guide choices, emotions, and direction, and so youâre no longer reacting to your body, but actually affecting what you want in life from the inside out.
