A lot of what parents are told to do focuses on behavior.
What to say.
What to do.
How to respond.
But for many kids, the challenge isn’t the strategy.
It’s where we’re starting from.
If a child’s nervous system is overwhelmed…
No strategy will work the way it’s supposed to.
That’s why you might see:
- big reactions
- shutdown
- resistance
- or things getting harder instead of easier
Even when you’re trying really hard to help.
When we start with the body first...
These help the nervous system feel safe enough for everything else to work.
I'm first up, after the summit welcome, so join now... and if you need more time to watch sessions, there are options for that too.
💬 I'm curious.... what’s something you’ve tried with your child that should have worked—but didn’t?
