I had one of those moments this week that reminded me how easy it is to ignore your own intuition.
Someone requested to join my community.
And straight away… I felt it.
That quiet little nudge of:
“Hmm… something’s off.”
Nothing dramatic. Nothing loud. Just a knowing.
But then the overthinking kicked in.
“Maybe I’m being too quick.” “Maybe I should give them a chance.” “Maybe I’m just reading into it.”
So I let them in.
Soon after
Spam. Fear-based messaging. Trying to pull people out of the space.
And I just had to laugh.
Because it was such a clear reminder of something we all do:
We know. And then we question what we know.
We override it. We try to be nice. We second guess ourselves.
Even when the answer was there from the start.
And this wasn’t even a big life decision.
It was a simple yes or no.
Let them in… or don’t.
So here’s your reminder (and mine):
That first feeling?
The quiet, certain one?
That’s the one to trust.
Not the overthinking. Not the “what if I’m wrong.” Not the part trying to make it make sense.
That first knowing.
I’m curious…
Where have you ignored your intuition recently… even when you knew?
And also — this is exactly why I’m intentional about the space I’m building.
Not fear-based messaging. Not quick fixes. Not people trying to “sell” certainty.
If that kind of space feels like a breath of fresh air… you’re always welcome to step inside.
