HOW TO DATE AFTER DIVORCE
Let’s be honest: re-entering the dating arena after marriage is terrifying. Between the baffling app etiquette and the pressure of small talk, it feels like a whole new planet.
But before you dust off your best outfit, you must ensure you are actually ready — and not just thoroughly fed up with your own company.
  • The "Ex-Factor" Red Flag: If your first-date banter involves a detailed breakdown of your ex’s defects, step away from the apps. Your date wanted a drink, not a seat on your jury.
  • The First-Match Trap: When starved of validation, it is easy to treat the first person who smiles at you like the answer to your prayers. Spoiler: they might just be a charming rogue with a nice haircut.
  • Ditch the People-Pleasing: If you are pretending to love their bizarre hobbies just to keep them interested, your old marital habits are driving the bus. You are allowed to have boundaries now!
  • Check Your Inner Gnomes: If your inner voice says you are "damaged goods", you will settle for scraps. You have to fall back in love with your own solo life first.
  • Want to heal and rebuild in complete anonymity? 🤫
