Yarn haul 💛
So, I had a plan. I just needed a little Ocean Jasper to finish up the sleeves for my current sweater project. I went for 1 skein... and somehow all of these followed me home. Oops! 😅 I guess I’m officially set for my next three projects! I’m finishing the sweater first, but looking at this pile, I’m already dreaming up what’s next. Which one would you dive into next?

Slow, but progressing
I’ve decided if I ever do another weaving project like this, I will get a 24” x 18” wooden board and drill holes in it around the edge. I’ll add removable finishing nails as the pins around the edge. Then I would then stretch one long cord back-and-forth (zig zag) across those pins vertically. Afterward I would weave each single horizontal iCord, using the finishing nails to pin them in place. I’m doing all right using these foam blocking boards, but I have to be careful because they’re so flexible. They tend to curl upward a little when I pull the iCords snug. As you can see, I have the long edge finished and sewn to hold from slipping apart. And I am working horizontally now. Yes, the iCord ends are all uneven, but when I get to the point of finishing, I will trim and tie them off before stitching the edge down. I definitely have way more iCord finished than I will need! lol Hopefully my next update will have the finished project.
