Set numbers and routine help
Great to have found your work! Since switching to lighter weights, I no longer feel like hammered dogcrap after my workouts. I’ve lifted pretty consistently since 18 years old (60 now), except for a lot of layoffs the past decade due to four spinal surgeries and a full knee replacement. Looking for optimal set numbers and workout schemes. Been doing 3-4 sets but maybe more would be better (I’ve been on TRT for almost two years now). I’m a college prof and work out in our well equipped university gym. Also, with the exception of using a rear delt machine, I’ve avoided direct shoulder work due to an impingement I suffered this past summer. Thanks!
