SOTD – Lalique Pour Homme - ITS LALIQUE POUR HOMME DAY!!!!
First off, a massive shoutout to my guy @Steve Louis for putting me onto this gem and letting me explore more from the house. You’re a real one, brother, certified MVP status. Some of us brothers are rocking this jem today after his post yesterday... check it out, hes got a way of explaining this fragrace that will give you everything you need to know about he house and fragrance. This fragrance dropped back before some of you were born in 1997, crafted by the legend Maurice Roucel, and let me tell you… this is an absolute no brainer for anyone who loves that classic gentleman vibe with a modern twist. It’s masculine, refined, clean, deep, and dry, the kind of DNA that makes you straighten your posture a little. Honestly, they could be charging way more than the ridiculous $19.99 Jomashop tester price. Yeah, you heard me… $19.99. And if you act now, they’ll throw in a free set of oven mitts! Kidding… maybe. Right from the jump, you’re hit with a clean citrusy fougere vibe. The opening slaps you with a punch of rosemary that smooths out quickly into a citrus bouquet that’s not too sharp or aggressively “fresh.” It’s smooth, it’s balanced, it’s classy. But the dry down? Oh man… that’s where the magic happens. As a fanboy of cedar and sandalwood, this checks every box for me. The woods blend beautifully with warm amber and a touch of oakmoss that’s so elegantly done, I keep catching myself going in for sniff after sniff. Versatility is off the charts you can wear this anytime, anywhere, no hesitation. Performance is solid, clocking in around 6 hours on my skin with projection easily noticeable especially in my warehouse environment. I had two people walk up like, “Is that you? I can smell you all over the place.” Yes. Yes, it is. Overall, this is an instant cop for me. I love this style, the price is a joke in the best way, and it easily earns an 8.3/10 from your fanboy. Huge thanks again to Steve for lighting the path to this bad boy.
