Back to 2017 & the beginings of my second favourite line, Stonger With You. Best described as comfort in a bottle, this is my fourth from the line. It might be an edt,but it certainly holds its own, & you can clearly see the dna that gave birth to a host of beautiful warm & cozy fragrances, each one with their own distinctive twist. This one came from perfumer Cecile Matton. It opens up with a spicy kick of pink pepper, cardamom & violet leaves. The pink pepper, which im a sucker for, provides a subtle freshness, while the cardamom adds a warm, inviting spice. As it settles, the heart reveals notes of sage, lavender & that beautiful cinnamon. Sage gives it an aromatic & slightly earthy quality, balancing the sweetness. Cinnamon adds further warmth. But as always,its the dry down iwhere the gourmand really shine. That amazing chestnut accord, vanilla, cedarwood essence & amberwood. Performance aint gonna be beastly like its siblings, your looking at about 6 to 8hrs, which for an edt is really good. Projection will see you right for at least the first two hours, before it gently starts to fade. Whilst generally best suited to the cooler days and more of a night time/event fragrance, the fact that its edt quality, you could potentially expand its use outside the normal range of wear, I know I will.
