Number of sprays, the discussipn continues
As I began this journey I listened to Antonio and I would say I spray pretty consistently about 6 sprays (three abdomen, 1 each shoulder, back of the neck) with one exception for Nishane Wulong Cha X. That one, just one or two. It is an extrait and the green tea notes can be overpowering. Then for some of my weaker scents or just to refresh I will respray 2-3 times. Now some perfumers recommend similar to this chart. A couple perfumers popular here in BOS: Kilian Hennessey recommends up to 6 across the neck, back, arms, and chest, but emphasizes finding a noticeable yet balanced amount through trial and error ; Frederic Malle advises wearers to establish a set spray count and stick to it, warning against the common mistake of overspraying due to "olfactory fatigue"β€”when you become nose-blind to a scent you wear frequently. How do you spray? Do you regulate based on concentration, intent, use the same number, or do you have a different approach? TLDR/how many sprays is just right for you, and do you change your approach and why?

@Dovi Rubelow Thanks, AI helped make it after my research prompt.

@Edward Mooney amazing how that happens about heavy spraying.
MOASS base notes in L'occitane
This made me laugh, even AI is like that is supposed to be oakmoss. Typo on a mail piece sent to me. Yes I shop there for one specific thing. Could be marketing to a new segment to appeal, you think?

John Wick x Scentbird
I will start by saying I bought this strictly for the name and to have on my collection. Much like my Batman scent, but boy does this one deliver. I may need to get a backup in case they discontinue it soon. It’s fresh and citrusy in the opening and then settles into a masculine scent that is just amazing. I smell the woods, the clary sage, maybe a hint of the bourbon, but it is blended incredibly smooth. I am going to be out here making the volleyball moms swoon and the volleyball dad’a jealous. Stay smelling good my brothers.

The metallic notes are very related to those in Hermes H24 Herbes Vives. Hermes uses sclarene. In Hermes Sclarene is described: This sclareol derivative doesn't smell of clary sage but rather presents a fascinating herbal-metallic character reminiscent of heated metal or steam rising from hot iron. I have both, I'd say the John Wick scent is sharper in the metallic notes but not abrasive.
Versace Man Eau Fraiche
I haven't posted in a while, but try to keep up. After church, I decided to go shopping. I needed some new shirts. Long story short, I got a new fragrance. Tough decision...too many were great. With summer on the way, I just couldn't pass this up. Got a great deal, and great scent. Not what I wore this morning, but what I will be wearing this week!

@Grant Cooper yes, longevity would require respraying in my mind. Link to RMRS: https://9f8e62d4.delivery.rocketcdn.me/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Top-Mens-Summer-Fragrances-1536x1536.jpg
Combo and Layering Escential Molecules
Got these two in yesterday. The E-01 and the M+Iris. I'm loving the added iris to the Escential 01 notes. The formula seems to shift a lot more than other scents I use. Iso E Super is 65% of the M+ Iris which is a very interesting booster to other scents. Can't wait to try it with my other summer scents.
