Today I have decided to go with Fall of Phaeton. The initial opening is quite sweet with some undertones of spice. At the 15 minute mark the Labdanum has definitely taken over the scent profile at this point. More Amber than Leather, and also getting some of the Lavender. At 30 minutes the transitions that this fragrance is making is simply splendid. The fragrance went from a sweet and slightly spicy opening to a semi-sweet and floral scent with Leather undertones that bring the scent complete balance. The dry down on this fragrance is very nice. I am getting a noticable Leather note with some sweetness from the Vanilla and Tonka, but further balanced out by the creaminess of the Musk. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is good with a scent bubble of about 2+ feet for over 2 hours. Sillage is also good with a scent trail of about 2.5 feet for over 2 hours. Longevity on my skin is between 6 to 7 hours with the fragrance becoming a skin scent at about hour 3. Total of 5 sprays 4 pulse points and 1 on back of neck.
