Good Afternoon, Brotherhood!
Another beautiful day in the Chi after all the rain. I went to worship today, and it was absolutely fantastic. Today’s message was a reminder that many things happen in our lives because of free will, and sometimes life goes left because we choose not to follow the path God has placed before us.
Today’s fragrance has also turned out to be an outstanding choice from the house of Tomavicci: Opulentia Oud. The nose behind this fragrance is Christian Provenzano, who has, in my opinion, created a masterpiece.
This is such an interesting composition. It’s spicy, green, subtly sweet, slightly fruity from the raspberry, musky, earthy, and beautifully rounded out with florals and rich musk. The oud is realistic yet incredibly approachable—never animalic—leaning more toward a refined Thai or Cambodian style.
The longevity has been sensational. I’ve been in the most incredible sillage bubble since 9:00 a.m., receiving multiple compliments throughout the day, and it’s now 3:30 p.m. This is simply a beautifully composed fragrance made with high-quality ingredients, and it shows from opening to dry down.
This one earns a solid 9.0/10 from me.
Make the rest of your Sunday amazing, Brotherhood, and as always… smell phenomenal doing it.
