Today as it was a rather nostalgic week, I decided to set aside for a bit my classic 80s fragrances that are now part of my signature and dust off a fragrance I used to love back in Highschool, King by Arabela. I honestly have no clue whether or not Arabela Mexico created this fragrance or it's a clone/inspiration, but I absolutely love it! It's a very fresh fragrance with bergamot, pineapple, a slight touch of honey and some woods (probably cedar) so far and with my now wider fragrance perspective, I perceive it as a mixture between a way less mature Creed Aventus, and a citrus freshie like Polo Sport or Animale for Men with a slight hint of bee honey during the drydown. Its performance is rather poor, with 4 to 6 hours longevity when oversprayed and moderate projection. Overall a nice masculine, youthful summer fragrance, that for it's price (4 USD for 50 ml) it's well worth the try.
