Today, as me and my significant other were running into some trouble, I decided to pick up our personal "Safe fragrance" Pi by Givenchy. It is the very first fragrance we looked after while being together and one that has been scenting several significant gifts. The scent profile is very simple despite all the notes listed, during the first hour Almond and resins are very strong, giving it a clean, soapy, even ethereal scent. After that and more towards the hour and a half mark, a hint of warm, rich vanilla comes in, and the soapiness decreases just to the point where the fragrance is not exactly vanilla, or almond itself but a little "something" of its very own. Performance for my batch (4L02) is 7+ hour longevity on skin and even weeks when applied on clothes, moderate projection and sillage throughout most of its longevity. A fragrance I'm glad I own, and, to me, a little piece of heaven, not only for what it represents to me, but also for it's ethereal scent.
