SOTD CAN’T GET ENOUGH

I used a sample I received recently and was blown away by the initial tests on paper and skin. To paraphrase the Initio description, Can't Get Enough is, "An unrelenting rush of desire that makes you feel intensely alive. The essence of this craving? A scent. A scent of flesh and temptation. A Rose, shaken by Pink Pepper. The obsession spills over into a visceral, haunting gourmandise: shameless Caramel, voluptuous Vanilla, and at its core, Hedione—a spectral molecule that envelops every note in unreasonable sensuality. CAN'T GET ENOUGH is a fragrance of obsession that keeps you yearning for more—again and again, and again. A hypnotic loop. An insatiable desire. A devouring passion. You crave this scent beyond reason, rejecting all restraint and ignoring any form of moderation. True to its name, it is haunting, captivating, and irresistible".

The notes are Rose, Pink Pepper, Hedione, Caramel, and Vanilla. Hedione and rose are the stars of this concoction. The hedione blends with the rose and adds a jasmine-like scent. Hedione is common to several other Initio fragrances in the Carnal Collection. For me, this is the challenge; it is a new fragrance that has joined a very crowded team. The rose is sweeter and more jammy than Atomic Rose, and Enough is a bit vulgar, screaming to be seen (or smelled). For me, it is an amped up, gourmand version of modern rose fragrances that pack a punch and pull attention to the wearer. So, it is likely to become a popular fragrance this winter.
