Shout Out to Commodity

If there is one fragrance house that has impressed me so much with how they offer their products, it's Commodity Fragrances. I continue to be in awe of the concept Scent Space allowing me to indulge in the different strengths of Velvet or Milk. While I do vibe with most of their hits, there are a few fouls I'm not a fan of such as Juice and Bergamot. The way to make those fouls work in my favor is engage in my love for layering fragrances; with this technique, I get to enjoy the two.

The other is knowing while they've built on their Scent Space as their preeminent offering, they didn't ignore what came before. The Commodity Archive with its tried and true fanbase, continues selling out on their originals such as Tonka and Rain. The simplicity of the Archived fragrances wasn't something that they could get rid of and I get excited when one of their 2 ml sizes is offered with my orders.

Their docuseries is something I also really enjoy, with getting a behind the scenes look at what Commodity is. I know of a few other fragrance house who do this; documenting the inner workings and thoughts on their product, but I saw it first with the Re-founder Vicken Arslanian. I do wish they'd do more, but they're busy and I appreciate their work.

So, this is my love letter to Commodity, my "thank you" for their products; for the last two weekends, I've spent close to $300 with them. With that, I've now become VIP member after joining two years ago which allows me early sales access and new product releases, as well as 3 points to every $1 spent, and birthday points. I've never offered a referral code for discounts to friends, but it's not stopped me from hyping them up.

So this admiration post is for the fragrance house that gets me- Commodity Fragrances. Is there anyone else who has a story or experience to share about Commodity?
