Premiering French Avenue: Amber Empire

An alternative to Clive Christian Blonde Amber. A well blended and very enjoyable and luxurious scent profile, but I’m not too impressed. I tried the OG at a store as well and didn’t impressed me either.

The opening is very delightful, sweet, spicy, boozy and woody. As it dries down, ends up keeping some spice and sweetness, but turns more to an amber, resinous and diffusive aroma. I’m not to fan of diffusive fragrances, I could definitely use much more projection and much longer duration of the opening (maybe some maturation), but it is long lasting. Overall it’s a nice fragrance.
