Penhaligan - Quercus Cologne

Second time wearing this sample, and similar to both Juniper Sling and Blenheim Bouquet - its a delightful citrus forward, freshy fragrance.

The white florals through the mid and base notes result in a genuinely soft and slightly feminine leaning profile - I think this one could be justifiably regarded as a unisex scent. The jasmine and sandalwood combine to convey a refined clean-laundry vibe, without being overtly 'soapy'

To be honest, the performance isn't fantastic, as its dries down to a skin scent very quickly - however, for me that's not always a major factor, depending on the circumstance and situation.
