NOZZLE THIEVES? Seriously?

Nozzle, actuator, pump head — not sure how the top part on the fragrance bottle is called. What I do know is that apparently, people like to just take it off from perfume testers and pocket it for no clear reason. When I heard about it from a perfume store employee, I was truly dumbfounded.

Recently, it feels like every other bottle I want to try, doesn't have a nozzle anymore. And this also makes the perfumes evaporate faster I think, which means less trying for everyone...

It's just such a puzzling act of petty malice — much worse than (much shunned) leaving one's shopping cart on a parking lot.

Is there some way to stop these absolute barbarians? Or perhaps perfume stores should just have a large box of replacement nozzles to deal with the inevitable? What do you guys think?
