Match #30 in the second-chance bracket features Gucci Guilty Pour Homme against Givenchy Gentleman Society. I like both of these fragrances, but they really occupy different spaces in my collection.

Gucci Guilty Pour Homme (2011, created by Jacques Huclier) opens with a fresh burst of lemon and lavender before settling into orange blossom, cedar, and patchouli. It's bright, easy to wear, and a fragrance I genuinely enjoy. My one complaint is that it doesn't project very much or last particularly long on my skin.

Givenchy Gentleman Society (2023, created by Karine Dubreuil-Sereni, Maïa Lernout, and Fabrice Pellegrin) is aimed at a different occasion. The blend of sage, cardamom, vanilla, narcissus, and vetiver gives it a richer, smoother personality that's perfect for cooler weather or a night out.

Both deserve a place in a collection, but this matchup goes to Gentleman Society. It's simply the more complete and satisfying fragrance for my tastes. Givenchy Gentleman Society survives to the next round, while Gucci Guilty Pour Homme is eliminated from the tournament.
