Making fresh musky fragrances last longer

So I've been absolutely in love with Initio's Musk Therapy l, but it doesn't last long on it's own. I've mixed it with PDM Galloway and Petit Matin from MGK and that has helped longevity and even enhanced the scent.

Today, I decided to try the old school methods for making a fragrance last longer, so I sprayed a molecule 2 (ambroxan) on one arm and ISO E Super on the other.

After a few minutes I layered that with Musk Therapy so that I could compare the differences.

They both changed the scent slightly, but not too much roake a difference. The ambroxan side projected a little more, but the ISO E Super lasted about an hour or two more and smelled more natural.

Since this is pretty much a skin scent anyway, I think I like the ISO E Super better for this application.

Have any of you tried this before?

Side note.. I mixed the ISO E Super myself and used a higher concentration, so it may have been that.
