Identifying the notes of a scent.

Hi Everyone, hope you are well. I have recently entered into the interest of fragrance. I am looking learn about scents and finding some for me. Now I noticed that I have to learn how identify the notes of a scent and also how to differentiate it from one to another. Now I tried some of the scents like Acqua Di Gio and Bleu De Chanel and honeslty I was not able to tell much difference rather than their intensity .I would appreciate if anyone can give some suggestion if they have ever been through this.
